Aquatic Programs

    ·All lessons will be held at the Beaumont Country Club pool.
    ·Group lessons will consist of a two-week session, totaling eight classes.
    ·Classes will be held Monday-Thursday.
    ·Make-up days will be announced for failure to hold class on our part,
    due to weather or pool conditions.

Group Swim Lessons

Aquatic programs stress enjoyment, safety and development of students’ confidence.
Each class emphasizes each individual’s progress. We offer several different classes
in order to meet the needs of each student.

COST:Member: $85Non-Member: $100
*$20 non-refundable deposit required.     8 Classes.

PRE-SCHOOLAges 3-5 years
The Pre-school Aquatic program focuses on enjoyment, development of children’s confidence and safety. The children develop beginning swimming skills, as well as basic water safety, recognizing emergency situations and use of flotation devices.
TGSAges 6 years and up
This program emphasizes learning each of the developmental levels, which are divided into five components: personal safety, personal growth, stroke development, water games and sports and rescue. The TGS program involves student-centered classes, using the guided-discovery teaching approach. Students will be grouped, according to ability, in the Tadpole, Guppy, and Shark levels.
Tadpole: Beginning level for school-age children.Ages 6 years and up
Learn basics of front and back paddle, as well as floating skills, with instructor assistance.
Guppy: Beginning level for school-age children.Ages 6 years and up
Build on skills learned in Tadpole, without instructor assistance. Introduce elementary backstroke and deep-water skills. Intermediate level focuses on front/back crawl, sidestroke, breaststroke, and elementary backstroke. Learn basic lifesaving techniques.
Shark: Beginning level for school-age children.Ages 6 years and up
Instructors will work on stroke refinement and overall endurance. More advanced lifesaving techniques will be explored, as well as continued character development.




From Orange: Take I-10 West into Beaumont. Immediately past the Neches River Bridge is
the Pine Street exit. Take the Pine Street exit, veering to the right onto Pine Street. Pine
Street will end at Collier’s Ferry Park. The Beaumont Country Club is on the left just prior to
the park entrance.

From Houston: Take I-10 East into Beaumont. Take the right exit onto Highway 69 North
(Lufkin exit). Take the Lucas Street exit and turn right onto Lucas. Stay on Lucas until it ends
at a “T” at Pine Street. Turn left onto Pine Street. Pine Street will end at Collier’s Ferry Park.
The Beaumont Country Club is on the left just prior to the park entrance.

From Lumberton: Take Highway 69 South to the Lucas Street exit. Take the Lucas Street
exit and turn left onto Lucas. Stay on Lucas until it ends at a “T” at Pine Street. Turn left onto
Pine Street. Pine Street will end at Collier’s Ferry Park. The Beaumont Country Club is on
the left just prior to the park entrance.

From South Park / Mid-County: Take Highway 69 North to the Lucas Street exit. Take the
Lucas Street exit and turn right onto Lucas. Stay on Lucas until it ends at a “T” at Pine Street.
Turn left onto Pine Street. Pine Street will end at Collier’s Ferry Park. The Beaumont Country
Club is on the left just prior to the park entrance.

Pre-Season
This is a perfect opportunity to get a head start on the summer swim season!
Practices run Monday-Thursday, and include both dry land and water training.
Ages 4 years to 19 years. Must be comfortable in the pool to participate.

Dates: May 17 - June 4, 2010*
Times: 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
*Memorial Day Week the schedule will be Tuesday-Friday, June 1st-4th

Summer Season

Dates: June 7- July 31, 2010.     Team Party August 1st

Morning Practice: 7:30am until 9:30am (Monday-Friday)
Evening Practice: 6:30pm until 8:30pm (Monday-Thursday)
Swim Meets: Saturdays. See schedule.
